Still haven't received a reply for the updated flyer designs, so I am going to use my own judgement for the typeface choice. As I have previously mentioned I feel that the typeface needs to be bold and concise, after carefully sifting through my font book and a few websites, I have decided upon the typeface 'gunplay' - a stencil typeface inspired bythe 1972 Steve McQueen/Ali MacGraw film, The getaway.
My reasoning for this font is simple, it has a high visual impact, it's legible, clear and the natural breaks in the letterforms of a stencil font create a playful element, which helps to create a balance of serious yet playful, which in essence is what the Talent Show is about.
